N series is an American standard, KN series is a Chinese standard, and FFP series is a European standard. The larger the number, the higher the protection level.

The number with a V at the end indicates that there is a valve.

1、 The mask is divided into three standards:

N95 is produced according to the American standard NOISH, and the manufacturers are 3M and Honeywell;

FFP2 is the European standard EN149;

KN95 is a Chinese standard GB2626-2006.

All masks with the executive standards printed on them are qualified masks.

2、 Medical N95 masks need to be protected against high-pressure liquid splashing, so they are higher than ordinary N95 masks; Take 3M as an example. Models 1860 and 9132 are commonly used medical protective masks.

In addition, there are children's 1860s. Ordinary people or medical personnel not exposed to high-pressure liquid splashing can choose ordinary N95 masks that meet the NOISH standard.

3、 European manufacturers of FFP2 standard masks include German UVEX, etc; FFP3 is a higher level (99) respirator.

4、 The Chinese standard GB2626-2006 refers to the standard for ordinary KN95 respirators.

The medical KN95 mask standard is GB19083-2010.

5、 Another common question is, do you choose a mask with or without a valve? Ordinary masks with valves are comfortable.

Medical masks are not allowed to have valves.

When ordinary people are infected or suspected to be infected, medical masks without valves must be selected.

6、 The common standard of medical surgical masks is YY0469-2010 or YY0469-2011, which is printed on the independent outer package of each mask.

1860/1870+This model is used for medical operations, moisture and dust prevention, etc

The model 8210/8511 is used for building engineering, dust prevention, etc

The 9210+model is used for industrial engineering, sand and dust prevention and decaying materials

It is very likely to buy N95 dust masks for construction from abroad, which are not anti-virus at all. You should look carefully. We don't know whether they are purchased on behalf of ignorance or knowingly and intentionally. The following two types, including the famous 3M brand, are purchased on behalf of a large number of people. Although they are N95, they are purely construction dust masks, which only prevent suspended particles/fine dust/pollen, etc., which are not anti-virus at all. They are expensive but have no effect on the new pneumonia. It is good to see clearly.

N95 is a respirator. When purchasing, remember the 1860/1870+model, or the words anti virus, surgical, and flu fighter.
